- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
- Chinese cooking wine - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Scallions - 4, cut into 2-inch pieces
- Ginger - 1 large piece, thinly sliced
- Live lobsters - 2 medium-sized

- Kill the lobsters by inserting a knife into their heads. Cut the lobsters into pieces and crack the claws.
- Mix the soy sauce, Chinese cooking wine, and cornstarch in a bowl to make the sauce.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat.
