Caribbean Jerk Beef Ribs
These Caribbean Jerk Beef Ribs are marinated in a spicy and flavorful jerk sauce and slow-cooked until tender and juicy.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Fresh thyme - 2 sprigs
- Green onions - 4, chopped
- Scotch bonnet pepper - 1, seeded and chopped
- Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1/4 cup
- Jerk seasoning - 1/4 cup
- Beef ribs - 2 pounds
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine the jerk seasoning, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, lime juice, chopped Scotch bonnet pepper, chopped green onions, and thyme. Mix well to create the marinade.
- Place the beef ribs in a large dish and pour the marinade over them. Turn the ribs to ensure they are fully coated in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat your grill or oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Remove the ribs from the marinade, reserving the marinade for basting. Season the ribs with salt and pepper.
