Hanger Steak with Chimichurri Sauce

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the hanger steak to the bowl and toss to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to high heat.
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
  5. Grill the steak for 6-8 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
  6. While the steak is cooking, make the chimichurri sauce. In a small bowl, combine the parsley, cilantro, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  7. Slice the steak against the grain and serve with the chimichurri sauce.
