Glutinous Rice Balls

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a bowl, mix the glutinous rice flour with water until a dough forms.
  2. Divide the dough into small pieces and flatten each piece into a disc.
  3. Place a small amount of black sesame paste in the center of each disc and fold the dough over to seal it.
  4. Boil a pot of water and cook the rice balls for about 5 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
  5. In a separate pot, bring the ginger, brown sugar, and 4 cups of water to a boil to make the ginger broth.
  6. Serve the rice balls in the ginger broth, sweetened with sugar to taste.
