Ingredients - Serves 4
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Nori (seaweed sheets) - 4 sheets
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Cooked japanese short-grain rice - 2 cups
Let's Get Started
- Divide the cooked rice into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a triangle or round shape.
- Brush the rice balls with soy sauce on all sides.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Place the rice balls in the pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- While the rice balls are cooking, cut the nori sheets into thin strips.
- Remove the rice balls from the pan and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Wrap each rice ball with a strip of nori.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
