  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the skin is crispy.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. While the salmon is cooking, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil in another skillet over medium-high heat.
  7. Add the onion petals and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they are charred and tender.
  8. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute, or until fragrant.
  9. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice and chopped dill.
  10. Serve the salmon fillets with the charred onion petals on top.
