Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Season the veal cutlets with salt and pepper, then dredge them in flour, dip in the beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the veal cutlets and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3 minutes per side.
  4. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce in the bottom of a baking dish. Place the veal cutlets on top of the sauce.
  5. Top each cutlet with more tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
