Let's Get Started

  1. In a food processor, combine the edamame beans, basil, garlic, and lemon juice. Pulse until finely chopped.
  2. With the motor running, slowly add the olive oil until well combined.
  3. Add the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper and pulse until smooth.
  4. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain, reserving 1 cup of the pasta water.
  5. Toss the pasta with the edamame pesto, adding pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.
  6. Serve the pasta with extra Parmesan cheese on top.
