Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Slice the bread rolls in half lengthwise and spread mayonnaise on both sides.
  3. Spread refried beans on the bottom half of each roll.
  4. Layer avocado, tomato, lettuce, onion, jalapeno, cheese, and cilantro on top of the beans.
  5. Place the filled rolls on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
  6. Serve the tortas hot with lime wedges on the side.
