Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Drain the tofu and press it to remove excess moisture. Cut it into 1-inch thick slices.
  2. Season the tofu slices with salt and pepper.
  3. Dredge each slice in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat in panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the tofu slices until they are golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Drain the tofu katsu on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  6. Serve the tofu katsu with tonkatsu sauce.
