Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and egg yolks until creamy and smooth.
  2. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold this into the mascarpone mixture.
  3. Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee and arrange in a single layer at the bottom of a serving dish.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
  5. Repeat with another layer of coffee-dipped ladyfingers and mascarpone cream.
  6. Dust the top layer with cocoa powder.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
