Tiramisu Siciliano

- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Heavy cream - 1 cup

- Strong coffee - 1 cup, cooled

Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and egg yolks until creamy and smooth.
- In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold this into the mascarpone mixture.
- Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee and arrange in a single layer at the bottom of a serving dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat with another layer of coffee-dipped ladyfingers and mascarpone cream.
- Dust the top layer with cocoa powder.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
