Teriyaki Tempeh Stir Fry

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the tempeh and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the broccoli, carrots, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and water.
  5. Pour the sauce over the vegetables in the pan and stir to combine.
  6. Add the cooked tempeh back into the pan and stir to coat in the sauce.
  7. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
  8. Serve the stir-fry over rice or noodles.
