Tequila and Lime Marinade
This tangy and flavorful marinade is perfect for chicken, beef, or seafood. The tequila and lime combine to tenderize the meat and add a zesty kick.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Jalapeno - 1, seeded and minced
- Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Lime juice - 1/2 cup, freshly squeezed
- Tequila - 1/2 cup
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine the tequila, lime juice, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, minced jalapeno, salt, and pepper.
- Whisk until the salt is dissolved.
- Place your choice of meat in a large zip-top bag and pour the marinade over it.
- Seal the bag and make sure all the meat is coated in the marinade.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to 24 hours.
- Remove the meat from the marinade and cook as desired. Discard the used marinade.
