Tempeh Tacos with Avocado Lime Crema

Let's Get Started

  1. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, lime juice, garlic, and cumin. Add the tempeh and let marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. While the tempeh is marinating, make the avocado-lime crema. In a blender, combine the avocado, cilantro, and remaining lime juice. Blend until smooth.
  3. Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated tempeh and cook until browned, about 5 minutes on each side.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a dry pan over medium heat.
  5. To assemble the tacos, spread a spoonful of the avocado-lime crema on each tortilla. Top with the cooked tempeh, lettuce, and tomato.
  6. Serve immediately.
