Bulgogi Burger
A fusion of Korean and American cuisine, the Bulgogi Burger features a juicy, flavorful bulgogi-marinated beef patty topped with lettuce, tomato, and a spicy mayo sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Sriracha - 1 tablespoon
- Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Lettuce - 4 leaves
- Hamburger buns - 4
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1/4 cup
- Ground beef - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine the ground beef, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper. Mix well and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Form the marinated beef into 4 patties and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, mix together the mayonnaise and Sriracha to make a spicy mayo sauce.
- To assemble the burgers, spread some of the spicy mayo on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a cooked patty, a lettuce leaf, and a slice of tomato. Add the top half of the bun and serve.
