Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface to form a rectangle.
  3. Transfer the pastry to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  5. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Add the sliced mushrooms, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook until the mushrooms are tender and any liquid has evaporated, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Spread the sautéed mushrooms evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
  8. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the mushrooms.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
  10. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley.
  11. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
