Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. Wash the tarragon and pat it dry. Remove the leaves from the stems.
  2. In a pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the sugar and stir until it's completely dissolved.
  3. Add the tarragon leaves to the pot and let them steep in the sugar water for about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the pot from the heat and let the mixture cool completely.
  5. Once cooled, strain the mixture into a large pitcher, discarding the tarragon leaves.
  6. Stir in the lemon juice. If you want a brighter green color, add a few drops of green food coloring.
  7. Chill the Tarhun in the refrigerator before serving. Serve over ice if desired.
