Tandoori Turkey

Ingredients - Serves 4
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Tandoori spice mix - 2 tablespoons
- Turkey breast - 2 pounds
Let's Get Started
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- In a small bowl, mix together the tandoori spice mix, garlic powder, cumin, coriander, turmeric, cayenne pepper, salt, and ginger.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the turkey breast.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the turkey breast to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, until lightly browned.
- Flip the turkey breast and add the lemon juice to the skillet.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the turkey is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
