  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and salt.
  2. Gradually add water and knead to form a soft dough.
  3. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into equal-sized balls.
  5. Preheat a tandoor or oven to high heat.
  6. Roll out each dough ball into a thin, round roti.
  7. Place the roti on a hot tandoor or oven rack and cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until it puffs up and gets brown spots.
  8. Remove the roti from the tandoor or oven and brush with ghee.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite curry or dish.
