Tandoori Mushroom
Tandoori Mushroom is a flavorful and spicy Indian dish made with marinated mushrooms cooked in a tandoor or oven.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Fresh coriander leaves - For garnish
- Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - To taste
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tablespoons
- Yogurt - 1/2 cup
- Button mushrooms - 500 grams
Let's Get Started
- Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, tandoori masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, lemon juice, and salt to make the marinade.
- Add the mushrooms to the marinade and coat them well. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Thread the marinated mushrooms onto skewers or place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the mushrooms with oil and bake them in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until they are cooked and slightly charred.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
