Ingredients - Serves 4
- Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish
- Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Malvani masala - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 inch piece, minced
- Garlic - 6 cloves, minced
- Tomatoes - 2, finely chopped
- Onions - 2, finely chopped
- Chicken - 1 kg
Let's Get Started
- Clean and wash the chicken pieces. Marinate them with salt, turmeric powder, and Malvani masala. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Add minced ginger and garlic to the pan and sauté for a few more minutes.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft and mushy.
- Add the marinated chicken to the pan and mix well. Cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes.
- Add water as required for the curry, cover the pan, and let it simmer for another 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked thoroughly.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving. Serve hot with rice or roti.
