Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a bowl, combine hung curd, fresh cream, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, kasuri methi, and salt. Mix well to make a smooth marinade.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade. Coat the chicken pieces well with the marinade. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). If using skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  5. Brush a baking sheet with oil and place the skewers on it. Alternatively, you can cook the kebabs on a preheated grill or in a tandoor.
  6. Bake the kebabs in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
  7. Remove the kebabs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. Serve the Tandoori Malai Kebabs hot, garnished with fresh coriander leaves. Accompany with sliced onions and lemon wedges on the side.
