Tandoori Chicken Naan Wraps
These delicious Tandoori Chicken Naan Wraps are filled with marinated grilled chicken, fresh vegetables, and a tangy yogurt sauce, all wrapped in warm naan bread.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Yogurt sauce - 1/2 cup
- Mint leaves - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Cucumber - 1, thinly sliced
- Red onion - 1/2, thinly sliced
- Tomatoes - 2, sliced
- Lettuce - 2 cups, shredded
- Naan bread - 4 pieces
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
- Greek yogurt - 1/2 cup
- Chicken breasts - 2, boneless and skinless
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and black pepper to make the marinade.
- Add the chicken breasts to the marinade and coat them well. Let them marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for better flavor.
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken breasts for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, slice it into thin strips.
- Warm the naan bread on the grill or in a toaster oven.
- Spread a generous amount of yogurt sauce on each piece of naan bread.
