Yam Talay
Yam Talay is a refreshing and spicy Thai seafood salad that combines a variety of seafood with fresh vegetables and a tangy dressing.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Tomatoes - 2, quartered
- Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
- Red onion - 1/2, thinly sliced
- Mint leaves - 1/4 cup
- Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Lime juice - 1/4 cup
- Mixed seafood - 2 cups
Let's Get Started
- Cook the mixed seafood in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the lime juice, fish sauce, sugar, chili flakes, and minced garlic. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the cooked seafood to the bowl and toss to coat in the dressing.
- Add the cilantro, mint leaves, red onion, cucumber, and tomatoes. Toss until everything is well combined.
- Serve the salad chilled.
