Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the bacon and cook until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the sliced beef steak and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and cook until softened.
  5. Return the cooked bacon and beef steak to the skillet with the onions and bell peppers. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to combine the flavors.
  6. Warm the corn tortillas on a separate skillet or in the oven.
  7. Place a portion of the meat and vegetable mixture onto each tortilla.
  8. Top with shredded Oaxaca cheese, salsa, and garnish with cilantro.
  9. Serve the tacos de alambre with lime wedges on the side.
