Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, mustard oil, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well to coat the chicken with the marinade.
  2. Cover the bowl and let the chicken marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Heat a grill pan or grill over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken until cooked through and slightly charred, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the grilled chicken from the heat and let it cool slightly. Then, shred the chicken into small pieces.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, chopped green chilies, chopped onion, and chopped cilantro. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
  6. Serve the Chicken Choila with soaked beaten rice (Chiura) and lime wedges on the side.
  7. Enjoy!
