Let's Get Started

  1. In a large pot, combine the vinegar, sugar, water, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add the cucumber slices, red pepper flakes, garlic, and dill to the pot. Stir to combine.
  3. Remove the pot from the heat and let the pickles cool to room temperature.
  4. Once cooled, transfer the pickles and their brine to airtight containers. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving to allow the flavors to develop.
  5. Serve the pickles cold. They can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
