Sweet and Sour Tempeh Wraps

- Tortilla wraps - 4
- Lettuce leaves - 4
- Carrot - 1/4 cup, julienned
- Red onion - 1/4 cup, thinly sliced
- Bell peppers - 1/2 cup, thinly sliced
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Ketchup - 2 tablespoons
- Maple syrup - 2 tablespoons
- Rice vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Tempeh - 8 ounces, sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, maple syrup, ketchup, cornstarch, and water to make the sweet and sour sauce.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced tempeh and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 5 minutes per side.
