Kung Pao Chicken Wraps
These Kung Pao Chicken Wraps are a delicious and easy-to-make meal. They are filled with flavorful chicken, crunchy vegetables, and a tangy sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Tortilla wraps - 4
- Roasted peanuts - 1/2 cup, chopped
- Onion - 1, thinly sliced
- Green bell pepper - 1, thinly sliced
- Red bell pepper - 1, thinly sliced
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Hoisin sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken breast - 2, boneless and skinless, cut into small pieces
Let's Get Started
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
- Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the sliced bell peppers and onion. Cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and pour the sauce mixture over it. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Warm the tortilla wraps in a separate skillet or microwave.
- Place a scoop of the Kung Pao chicken mixture onto each tortilla wrap.
- Sprinkle with chopped roasted peanuts and cilantro.
- Roll up the wraps tightly and serve.
