Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the cabbage and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the leaves are soft and pliable. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, rice, egg, salt, and pepper.
  4. Carefully remove the leaves from the cabbage. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each leaf, then roll up the leaf, tucking in the sides as you go.
  5. Place the cabbage rolls seam-side down in a baking dish.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the cabbage rolls.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 1 hour, until the cabbage rolls are tender and the beef is cooked through.
