Ginger Beer Braised Beef Ribs

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Season the beef ribs with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the ribs and brown on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove from the pot and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in the ginger beer, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. Stir to combine.
  5. Return the ribs to the pot. Cover and simmer for 2-3 hours, or until the meat is tender and falls off the bone.
  6. Remove the ribs from the pot. Mix the cornstarch with a little water to make a slurry, then stir into the pot to thicken the sauce.
  7. Serve the ribs with the sauce poured over the top.
