Sticky Rice with Mango

Sticky Rice with Mango

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Soak the rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Drain the rice and steam in a steamer for 15-20 minutes until tender.
  3. While the rice is cooking, heat the coconut milk, sugar and salt in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a bowl and pour the coconut milk mixture over it. Stir well and let it sit for about 30 minutes to absorb the coconut milk.
  5. Serve the sticky rice with fresh mango slices and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
