Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Combine the rice and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  2. While the rice is cooking, combine the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the sugar and salt are dissolved. Remove from heat.
  3. When the rice is done, stir in the vinegar mixture. Let the rice cool to room temperature.
  4. Divide the rice among four bowls. Top each bowl with equal amounts of the crab, cucumber, avocado, and nori.
  5. Sprinkle each bowl with sesame seeds and serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger on the side.
