Stekt Torsk Med Remulade
This is a traditional Norwegian dish featuring pan-fried cod served with a tangy remoulade sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Capers - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Pickle relish - 1 tablespoon
- Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Mayonnaise - 1/2 cup
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Flour - 1/2 cup
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Cod fillets - 4 (6 ounce)
Let's Get Started
- Season the cod fillets with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour.
- Heat the butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the cod and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden and cooked through.
- While the cod is cooking, make the remoulade. In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, mustard, pickle relish, lemon juice, capers, and parsley.
- Serve the cooked cod with a generous dollop of remoulade on top.
