Steamed Shrimp Dumplings

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a food processor, combine the shrimp, ginger, garlic, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Pulse until well combined and the mixture becomes a paste.
  2. Place a spoonful of the shrimp mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it in half to form a triangle. Press the edges to seal.
  3. Arrange the dumplings in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bring water to a boil in a pot or wok. Place the steamer basket on top and cover with a lid. Steam the dumplings for 10-12 minutes, or until the shrimp is cooked through and the wrappers are translucent.
  5. Serve the steamed shrimp dumplings hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
