Let's Get Started

  1. In a bowl, combine the ground pork, shrimp, soy sauce, sesame oil, and green onions.
  2. Place a small amount of the pork and shrimp mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Brush the edges of the wonton wrapper with the beaten egg, then fold the wrapper over the filling to form a triangle. Press the edges to seal.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F.
  5. Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve the deep-fried wontons hot with soy sauce or sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
