Steamed Mussels in White Wine

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic and shallots, and cook until they are soft and fragrant.
  3. Add the white wine, and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the mussels to the pot, and cover with a lid.
  5. Steam the mussels for about 10 minutes, or until they have all opened.
  6. Discard any mussels that have not opened.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, and stir in the chopped parsley.
  8. Serve the mussels hot, with the white wine sauce.
