- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - To taste
- Salt - To taste
- Vegetable oil - 2 cups
- Potatoes - 4 large, cut into fries
- Steak - 2 pieces, about 8 oz each
