Spicy Tuna Sushi Burrito
A fusion of Mexican and Japanese cuisine, this sushi burrito is filled with spicy tuna, rice, and a variety of fresh vegetables.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Avocado - 1, sliced
- Carrot - 1, julienned
- Cucumber - 1, julienned
- Nori sheets - 2
- Mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon
- Sriracha - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Tuna - 200 grams, raw and diced
- Sushi rice - 1 cup, cooked
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, mix the diced tuna, soy sauce, sriracha, and mayonnaise.
- Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat.
- Spread half of the sushi rice evenly on the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.
- Place half of the spicy tuna mixture in a line down the center of the rice.
- Top the tuna with half of the cucumber, carrot, and avocado.
- Roll the sushi burrito tightly using the bamboo mat, wetting the top border of the nori to seal the burrito.
- Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make a second burrito.
- Slice each burrito in half and serve.
