Spicy Gongura Chicken

Let's Get Started

  1. Clean the chicken and marinate with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and ginger garlic paste for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add the chopped onions and green chillies. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
  3. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook on medium flame until the chicken is fully cooked.
  4. In another pan, add the gongura leaves without any water and cook until the leaves wilt completely. Let it cool.
  5. Blend the cooked gongura leaves into a coarse paste.
  6. Add this gongura paste to the cooked chicken and mix well. Cook for another 10 minutes on low flame.
  7. Spicy Gongura Chicken is ready to serve. Serve hot with rice or roti.
