Soegogi Mu Chim
Soegogi Mu Chim is a traditional Korean dish made with marinated beef and radish salad.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Toasted sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Green onion - 4 stalks, chopped
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Radish - 1 large, julienned
- Beef sirloin - 1 pound, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, sugar, salt, and black pepper to make the marinade.
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine julienned radish, carrot, and chopped green onion to make the salad.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat and cook the marinated beef until it is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the beef from the pan and let it cool slightly.
- Add the cooked beef to the salad and mix well.
- Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top.
- Serve the Soegogi Mu Chim as a main dish or as a side dish with steamed rice.
