Smoked Steelhead Chowder
A hearty and comforting chowder made with smoked steelhead, potatoes, and cream.

- Chopped fresh parsley - For garnish
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Heavy cream - 1 cup
- Smoked steelhead - 1 pound, flaked
- Chicken broth - 4 cups
- Potatoes - 2 large, diced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 large, diced
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
Let's Get Started
- Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is soft, about 5 minutes.
- Add the potatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
- Add the smoked steelhead and heavy cream. Stir to combine and heat through, about 5 minutes.
