Smoked Salmon Chowder
A hearty and creamy chowder with the smoky flavor of salmon, perfect for a cold day.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Heavy cream - 1 cup
- Smoked salmon - 1 cup, chopped
- Chicken broth - 4 cups
- Potatoes - 2 medium, diced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onions - 1 medium, chopped
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
Let's Get Started
- Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the onions and garlic and cook until the onions are soft, about 5 minutes.
- Add the potatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
- Stir in the smoked salmon, heavy cream, and dill. Season with salt and pepper.
