Skillet Garlic Butter Herb Steak and Potatoes
Juicy steak and crispy potatoes cooked in a skillet with garlic, butter, and herbs.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Thyme - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Rosemary - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Garlic - 5 cloves, minced
- Butter - 4 tablespoons
- Small red potatoes - 1 pound, quartered
- Ribeye steak - 2, 1-inch thick
Let's Get Started
- Preheat a large skillet over high heat.
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper and add to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the potatoes and cook until golden and crispy, about 10 minutes.
- Push the potatoes to one side of the skillet and add the remaining butter, garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
- Add the steaks back to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter over the top.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the steaks are cooked to your desired doneness.
- Serve the steaks and potatoes with the garlic butter sauce.
