  1. Drain the soaked almonds and peel off the skin. Blend them with a little milk to make a smooth paste.
  2. In a pan, add the milk and bring it to a boil. Add the almond paste and sugar, and stir well.
  3. Simmer the mixture on low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the cardamom powder and rose water, and mix well.
  5. Turn off the heat and let the sharbat cool to room temperature. Then refrigerate it for a few hours.
  6. Serve the chilled Sharbat-e Baadaam garnished with saffron strands.
