Let's Get Started

  1. Trim the edges of the bread slices and cut them into triangles. Heat ghee in a pan and when it is hot, deep fry the bread slices till golden brown.
  2. In another pan, add milk and cook on low heat till it is reduced to half. Add sugar and cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. In another pan, add sugar and water and cook till you get a one thread consistency. Add saffron and cardamom powder and mix well.
  4. Dip the fried bread slices in sugar syrup and arrange them in a plate. Pour the reduced milk on top.
  5. Garnish with almond and pistachio slivers and silver leaf. You can serve it warm or chilled.
