Shanghai Noodles with Pork
This is a traditional Shanghai-style noodle dish with stir-fried pork and vegetables.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Carrots - 1, thinly sliced
- Bok choy - 2 cups, chopped
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Pork loin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
- Shanghai noodles - 500 grams
Let's Get Started
- Cook the Shanghai noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix the pork with the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add the pork and stir-fry until it is no longer pink.
- Add the bok choy and carrots and stir-fry until they are tender.
- Add the cooked noodles and green onions and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot.
