Let's Get Started

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan and sauté until they start to soften.
  3. Add the chopped kimchi and kimchi juice to the pan and stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked rice to the pan and break up any clumps. Stir-fry for a few minutes until the rice is heated through.
  5. Drizzle the soy sauce and sesame oil over the rice and mix well.
  6. Add the chopped green onions and stir-fry for another minute.
  7. Serve the kimchi fried rice in bowls, topped with a fried egg (if using) and sprinkled with roasted sesame seeds.
