Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour and eggs until a dough forms.
  2. On a floured surface, roll the dough into a thin sheet and cut into thin strips.
  3. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Fry the dough strips, a few at a time, until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  5. In a saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and honey. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the syrup thickens.
  6. Add the fried dough strips to the syrup and stir until all the strips are coated.
  7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and press the mixture into a square or rectangular shape.
  8. Let cool, then cut into squares or rectangles to serve.
