Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Mash the boiled potatoes and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, ginger, green chillies and saute for a minute.
  3. Add the mashed potatoes and peas to the pan. Add coriander powder, garam masala and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes. Let it cool.
  4. In a bowl, take the all-purpose flour, add water gradually and knead it into a firm dough.
  5. Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a small round of 4 inch diameter.
  6. Cut each round into two halves. Take one half, fold it into a cone. Place a spoon of the filling in the cone.
  7. Seal the edges with a little water.
  8. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the samosas on low to medium heat until golden brown.
  9. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
